My thought on the subject is...
If it is coming out of Harvard, it has to be legit. The American culture is founded upon scientific rigor. How else can the economy and the system continue, if the data that defines it could ever be called into question?
Have no fear! Key values can be infinitely correlated and validated, proving, or perhaps more importantly, disproving any potential hypotheses. Such as hypotheses that call into question the sustainability of unlimited capital expansion, or any other such weighty 21st century topics, such as marketing to tweens via increasingly disparate digital channels, controlled by fewer and fewer ever merging corporate entities.
